Biennially, the National Capital Educational Tourism Project commissions research into the size and effect of school excursions to the National Capital. This is an extensive six month research assignment managed by the Centre for Tourism Research at the University of Canberra and provides the NCETP with a picture of the current trends in the schools market. This research is utilised by various industry stakeholders and is a vital tool that ensures marketing activities and programs can be reviewed and renewed to compliment the ever-changing marketplace.
