Travelling Teacher Seminars /EXPOS
The National Capital Educational Tourism Project conducts travelling teacher seminars in different states each year. At these seminars you will learn about the best time of year to plan an excursion, how to take advantage of the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate and talk to education staff to learn about the resources they offer to both travelling and non travelling schools. These tours introduce teachers to 16 National Capital Attraction representatives who present the values of excursions and the educational resources on offer in the National Capital.
Upcoming seminars
The NCETP will be conducting teacher seminars in the following locations:
- Lismore — Wednesday 20 July 2011, 3:30pm – 6.30pm
- Coffs Harbour — Thursday 21 July 2011, 3:30pm – 6.30pm
- Port Macquarie — Friday 22 July 2011, 12:30pm – 3.30pm
There is no participation fee to attend these seminars and refreshments will be provided, as well as a chance to win an Apple iPad.
