Travelling Teacher Seminars /EXPOS

The National Capital Educational Tourism Project conducts travelling teacher seminars in different states each year. During 2007 we conducted four teacher seminars in Perth, Bunbury, Melbourne and Geelong. These tours introduce teachers to 16 National Capital Attraction representatives who present the values of excursions and the educational resources on offer in the National Capital.

At these seminars you will learn about the best time of year to plan an excursion, how to take advantage of the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate and talk to education staff to learn about the resources they offer to both travelling and non travelling schools.

In 2009, the NCETP conducted a National Capital Expo in Dubbo in mid June 2009. Representatives from sixteen Canberra attractions travelled to these locations to showcase their education programs and resources. Teachers in these regions were invited to come anytime between 3 & 6pm.
